New addition to the Torridon fold! 
Earlier this week, one of our highland cows gave birth to a handsome calf. Mother and son are doing very well - keep watching the Torridon blog for more information and photographs. Make sure you take a look when coming along the driveway next time you stay to catch a glimpse of this (and we hope, soon to come other) calf. 
We can't believe that the winter is almost over and preparations are in full swing to re-open the Inn for the 2008 summer season. Lisbeth is busy recruiting her 2008 team (you will be delighted to know that Marta Wojtkowiak and her boyfriend Piotr are returning to us for their fifth season!), fully stocking the bar with our reknowned selection of malts and real ales, writing a delicious sounding menu and selecting her wine list. The Inn wil be open again from 17th March - make your booking enquiry here or call us to book your room. 
Yes, winter is truly behind us - the daffodils are about to burst into bloom and we are now offering Torridon spring breaks. Stay with us from just £235 per room, per night in a Superior Double room, incusive of welcome afternoon tea, dinner, room and breakfast. It is now official - The Torridon is the most romantic hotel in Scotland! This was confirmed when we won the Romantic Hotel of the year award on 24th Feburary at the Hotel Review Scotland awards. So - if you are in need of a romantic hideaway from the world, why not head up to us? We three proposals already this year (all succesful we are happy to report!), some fourteen weddings booked and a full house over valentines weekend, you all seem to agree! 
Chris is raring to go and get you all outdoors this year. He has been very busy over the past few months updating his walking guide for you all, improving the rock climbing and abseiling area and much, much more. As you will see in the 'other news' section, he has organised a whole host of activity holidays again this year. Click here for more details.
