After undergoing a fantastic extension of its bathroom last year, the cottage has had a facelift, with new soft furnishings and curtains. The last of the snow is well and truly behind us, the mountains are glistening with their final covering as it slowly disappears, the loch is still and the daffodils are in full bloom. Spring has definitely arrived here and in true fashion this is a celebration of new starts. Our new look rooms on the second floor are looking amazing and getting great reviews from the guests who have experienced them, new staff are arriving weekly to complete the team for the summer ahead, our new calves are enjoying life and we are looking forward to welcoming you back. Those of you who have stayed recently will have seen the new, bespoke Torridon tweed. Woven by Lochcarron weavers especially for us, it is proving to be extremely popular. There are several items available - teddy bears, handbags, ties, cufflinks, scarves to name just a few. Our last teddy bear was sold this week and we have orders waiting for tweed caps already! Make sure that you take a look at our shop cabinet when you next stay. 
The Torridon Inn is now well and truly open for the summer season. Lis and her team (several of whom are in their third or even fourth season with Lis) are all looking forward to seeing new and old faces alike over the coming months. As usual there is a great range of dishes on the bistro menu with locally sourced, organic produce featuring heavily. Our selection of real ales is increasing and as popular as ever and the bedrooms, all having undergone their annual maintenance during the winter closure are looking better than ever!
