Torridon Restaurant scores a Hatrick!
We are immensely proud to announce that the Torridon Restaurant has won three awards in the past few weeks.
First up we were winners at the British Cheese Awards in the Best UK Restaurant Cheese Board. We were complimented for our use of a large variety of only Scottish cheeses. Kevin is very proud of this acheivment and we have organised a cheese weekend in the Spring to follow on from this.
This was quickly followed by a success at the UK Restaurant Magazine Awards where the team won Best Roast Beef Dish. This was a real success as we had used beef from our Highland cattle fold.
The trio was then completed by wining the Best Highland Dining out Experience award at the Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards at a gala evening in Inverness. This is great recognition for both the Hotel restaurant and Torridon Inn for our use of fresh, seasonal and local produce.
We are thrilled at these awards and congratulate Kevin and the kitchen and restaurant teams on their success.

Cheese, cheese, cheese
To celebrate our recent success in the Britsh cheese awards, we are holding a weekend of cheese related events. Juliet Harbutt, a world-wide recognised cheese guru will be staying with us over the weekend of 22-24 February - this promises to be an entertaining and informative weekend.
Dinner on Friday will be Chef's buffet of all things highland - fresh local seafood, Smoked Salmon, Meats, vegetables and rounded off with our own infamous sticky toffee and marmalade pudding. Chef will be on hand to carve and serve at the buffet and to answer any questions you may have.
Saturday is over to Juliet. She will be hosting dinner this evening - this will be light hearted, amusing but with lots of interesting information. There will also be some fun games with prizes (all cheese-related of course!)
Room rates are starting from £215 per room, per night inclusive of dinner, bed and breakfast and afternoon tea on Friday to welcome you.
