Onwards and upwards - the refurbishment continues
As most of you will know, January is a month during which we close and the Barraclough Bros, aka Jimmy and Stuart, get busy with our latest refurbishment projects. This coming January is no exception and will see an extensive refurbishment of the kitchen here at the hotel. This constant investment back into the building here reflects our commitment to providing you, our guests, with the best possible experience and also giving our staff the best possible working environment. Chef Kevin and his team will be working hard to improve yet further on their culinary offerings in 2009 and we are hopeful of very good things to come.
Should you wish to take a look on your next trip, just let us know and we will be more than happy to show you around. You could even take advantage of a cook's tour - venture out with Kevin to select produce for dinner that evening then head back to the all-new kitchen to assist in preparations for dinner. We will them set a delightful private table in our library for dinner which comes to you served by Kevin and his team. Contact us here to book your cook's tour.
Winter arrives in Torridon
The mountains are beautifully covered in snow this past week, the air is crisp and clear and it has been a great start to the winter time. The fires in the hotel are roaring, the boots are drying by them and whisky glasses are clinking as walkers exchange stories of their day's escapades. Read on for some great winter time offers and join us for a late getaway from the Christmas rush and the post New Year blues! In the mean time, should we not see you before the festive season, we send all our very best wishes for a joyous and peaceful Christmas and a very happy New Year.
Great value room offer
Why not treat yourself to a little winter time luxury at a very affordable price? From now until the end of February, we are letting our classic rooms at just £99 per person, per night inclusive of a five course dinner, room and breakfast. The good news doesn't stop there either - for just £31 per person you can upgrade to a superior room with a view. We'll even save you the hassle of picking up the telephone - all you have to do is visit our website and book online. If the classic rooms are available you can book them there and then.
