Another year has ended, 2009 was a year of considerable change for us here with some of our long term staff departing, new staff arriving and ongoing refurbishments to mention just a little of what has been going on. 2010 is shaping up to be a year of further progression: classic bedroom number 10 is in the throes of refurbishment as this is being typed, Barraclough Bros Jimmy and Stuart then move on to the construction of a byre for our beloved pet Highland cattle and the main entrance hall will be receiving a new look sanded and polished floor this month alone. More bedrooms are planned for facelifts later this year along with other, smaller projects too. After a hugely successful festive season, Bruno, fiancee and talented pastry chef Emma and their team will be building on their first two months with us and really pushing the boundaries forward in the kitchen and dining room. We are, as ever, excited about the year ahead - we very much hope that you will be able to make it back to stay with us this year.
